Tire Pressure 35" tires?

Hey Y'all,

I have a 2021 Silverado 2500HD Duramax, I put Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT 35x12.50 tires on my stock 18" wheels. I use the truck for both my daily driver and my side business which involves both snow plowing with a Fisher 8.5' XV, and towing a lot of 5th wheel campers.

So questions are:

When towing 5th wheel campers, I typically run 65 psi all the way around. The myChevrolet app recommends 59 psi in the front, and 69 psi in the rear. But that is with the stock tire sizes.. So Should I adjust my daily driver psi to something else for the size of the tire? what should I put them at while towing? and what should they be at for plowing? Just trying to get the most life I can out of these tires, any advice on what you all do, or recommend is much appreciated!

60-65 psi sounds right, but maybe you can get a chalk test in before the snow falls (plow ready of course).

A 5th wheel won’t add much weight to the front end. I typically leave front tires 50-55psi and only adjust the rear for towing. 60-65pai towing. 45-50psi when empty.

If you have others service your truck watch the tire pressures. Likely over inflated to 80psi because the so called mechanic thinks the door sticker still applies and can’t read the sidewall 🤦

I would use the recommended tire pressure on sidewall of tire, especially if your doing alot of 5th wheel towing. The tire manufacturers put that there too prevent tire failure, I know I changed my tire size and they still recommended a 80 psi at max load,I always adjust to what I am towing. But for plowing Def use lower pressure so you get better traction.
