Searched but not seeing anything.

Why would you want to disable them? Most insurance companies give you a discount for having them.

It's the law. Johnny said so. At least you turn them on when visibility is compromised. Having them on makes your vehicle a lot more visible to oncoming traffic. :thumb I'm all about safety though... :p

I put Hids on the truck
I see your quandary... I'm firmly against the use of HIDs as driving lights, so I don't care. :p

I have hids as well here.

Here it's only the law to have daytime running lights on if the windshield wipers are running. As in rain/snow.

Thanks for they Linky Joker! I dont have HIDs yet, but hate that they are on anyway because I hate replacing things that shouldn't burn out in 2 months. But I ALWAYS run the fogs anyway, plus the marker lights.

So joker, what about older trucks or trucks that dont have DRL? Are they illegal to drive during the day?

Sure are! Tink doesn't have that shit. There were a lot more head-on collisions in TINK's day though.

Anyone who thinks you can see an oncoming vehicle the same with or without headlights on (in any weather, even clear, sunny days) is a fucking retard and I will gladly punch these people in the throat. Cause I roll like that.

I agree with the day time running light thing. I mean seeing a white truck (or any color for that matter), against the glare or what ever else is pretty hard. Seeing a light in my experience even though it ain't much, does help. But I can see the having to replace them more often but it still seems worth it in my mind.

Who cares if someone pulls out BEHIND you?

But if they pull out in front cause maybe they didn't see you- thats a different story I'm sure you would agree.
